Cooking became his medicine and meditation, transforming his outlook on life. What is anchovy salt?

Anchovy salt is Vietnamese fish sauce that has been completely dehydrated in wooden barrels leaving an incredibly flavorful and umami salt with a seafood essence.

What does it taste like?

It has a deeply umami and caramelized seafood flavor and aroma. The flavor mellows out when cooked and helps enhance the flavor of other ingredients similar to how you would use fish sauce or anchovies in a variety of recipes.

How do you use it?

We love to use it in sauces, stews, soups to add a mellow savory flavor that acts like a natural MSG. You can also use it as a finishing salt but beware the flavor is much stronger straight out of the bottle than when it is cooked into a dish.
