Walnut Tacos

Walnuts can make the perfect meat replacement, yes, walnuts. It’s really all so simple and easy when you have the right flavor to enhance it. I used spice blends from Spice Tribe to take it up a notch, having authentic spices and peppers incorporated into it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Raw walnuts
- Boiling water
- Spice Tribe California Love All Purpose Chile Blend
- Spice Tribe Ancient Halaby Middle Eastern Blend
- Spice Tribe Porcini Paradiso Italian Blend
- 5 Hard corn taco shell
- Arugula
- Yellow rice pre cooked
- Cilantro
- Lime
- Purple cabbage & shredded carrots
Instructions:
- Boil raw walnuts for 1 hr, strain and add to a food processor. Pulse for a few seconds until nuts are minced and grinded.
- In a skillet, add your preferred oil, incorporate your spice blends to enhance the meat replacement. Cook for 3-5 mins.
- Set up your shells and add arugula, yellow rice, cabbage, carrots, vegan meat and cream sauce.
- Top with cilantro and serve with limes.
Cream Sauce:
- 1 1/3 cups Dairy free oatmilk yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 3 tbsp Spice Tribe Porcini Paradiso Italian Blend
